Imagine waking up every morning with no food in the house, worried about where the next meal is going to come from for you and your family? Imagine going to bed, hungry, every single night having barely eaten that day. Imagine watching your child cry out from hunger.
Food is a basic necessity for survival and also the key to a healthy life. Without regular healthy meals children struggle to go to school, carers struggle to work, and communities are left battling to survive. However, you can help alleviate this terrible burden for millions of people by helping to provide meals for those in need and donating towards building food security solutions. Donate now.

Tragically, 821 million people across the globe live in deep poverty and struggle to feed their families. Many do not know where their next meal is coming from.
This lack of regular meals has a knock-on effect on other aspects of life, impacting health and energy levels. Many are unable to work, while children struggle to concentrate in school, pushing families further into poverty.
At Islamic Relief, we’ve been working with communities across the globe for over 30 years. We know just how important a nutritious diet is. That’s why we’re striving to ensure that no child or adult goes hungry – to feed a family in need is life-changing.
We work to provide sustainable long-term food solutions for communities in need, as well as offering short-term lifesaving interventions in response to global emergencies.
Thanks to your generosity, year after year, we are able to provide essential food packs to millions of vulnerable families across the globe.
In total, we’ve assisted 5.4 million people across 13 countries through our food and nutrition projects.
We distribute seeds and train locals to improve agricultural production, and we have introduced small-scale fish farming to enable families to improve their diet and increase their income. We have also helped to establish community-run food banks to feed a family in dire need of provisions.
With additional school gardens to help children in local communities and irrigation schemes to increase agricultural productivity, we’re enabling communities to grow more food. What’s more, when war, conflict, and natural disaster-hits, we’re straight on the ground to support communities in need.
We set up and support emergency feeding centres to support severely malnourished children, provide emergency food packs and food vouchers to help individuals and feed families in crisis, and distribute fresh meat during Ramadan and Qurbani to offer a vital protein source for malnourished families.
This year, Islamic Relief is aiming to provide Ramadan packs to over 1.1 million people in 32 countries.
By supporting our Islamic Relief, you’ll be helping to feed a family in their time of crisis. In doing so, you’re helping to fight food poverty, to ensure hunger no more for communities in the long-term.
In Yemen, 80 per cent of families do not know where their next meal is coming from. Islamic Relief run food programmes in the country which serve huge numbers of people.
As one of the biggest partners, we distribute food vouchers and packages, which contain essential staples such as rice, flour and oil that are a lifeline for families in crisis.
When families in Yemen are forced to flee their homes in an emergency, we also make sure they have the support they need to provide for their children.
We also work to combat malnutrition among under-fives and pregnant and breastfeeding women in Yemen. Working in communities and health facilities, we provide preventative care and treatment.
The generous support of our donors has allowed us to reach 14.5 million people in 2024. Behind that impressive statistic is millions of pounds worth of donations, a massive global aid operation, and a huge amount of trust. It is an investment of trust on the part of our donors – or amanah – that we take seriously at Islamic Relief.
In 2025, your donations helped us deliver more than 155,000 food parcels to families across 32 countries, benefitting some 840,000 people.
Providing food to those in need, is a lifeline. This Ramadan, feed the fasting by giving a food pack.
During times of crisis, we distribute emergency food packages which are a lifeline for vulnerable families.
Every Ramadan, Islamic Relief provides food parcels containing essential items such as oil, flour and dates to vulnerable families across the globe. The food parcels allow them to be better prepared for the month of Ramadan, easing their worries about how to access food with which to end their fast each evening.
We also run a global qurbani programme, providing meat to vulnerable families so they can celebrate Eid free from worrying about how they will eat.
