When to say a Dua for Palestine?
You can make sincere Du’a for our brothers and sisters in Palestine at any time, but Du’a is more likely to be accepted at certain times of the day/year.
In the last ten days and nights of Ramadan, Allah (SWT) shows great mercy to His creation and Du’as made with sincere intention and faith in Allah’s (SWT) acceptance can earn great benefits and rewards.
Other good times for Du’a include the last third of the night, when travelling, at the time of breaking the fast, between the Adhan and the Iqamah, and after Salah.
Dua for Palestine
Here is a Du’a from the Qur’an that you can read to help our brothers and sisters in Palestine, as well as those in need around the world:
اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ
اللَّهُمَّ فَرِّجْ عَنْ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ
اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ
Transliteration: ‘Allahumma aslih Ummata Muhammad. Allahumma farrij ‘an Ummati Muhammad. Allahumma Rham Ummata Muhammad [sallAllahu alayhi wasalam]
Translation: ‘O Allah! Improve (help) the state of the Ummah of Muhammad. O Allah! Grant ease to the Ummah of Muhammad. O Allah! Have mercy on the Ummah of Muhammad.
You can also read the following Du’a in English:
“O Allah, help and protect the people of Palestine. O Allah, ease their pain and suffering. O Allah, bestower of Mercy, bestow your mercy on them. O Allah, open people’s hearts to give in this time of crisis. O Allah, help those who are in need, wherever they may be.”
